U10s conclude season

Nine girls and seven boys from Ski & Snowboard Club Vail’s U10 SpeedQuest Program, who compete in United States Ski and Snowboard Association Age Class Races, headed to Telluride last weekend to compete in the U10 Championships.

“We saw some great results this weekend in both slalom and giant slalom from our athletes,” said Mike Wolfson, SSCV’s head SpeedQuest coach. “It was a great culmination to our racing season to bring all of the U10 age class racers to one spot, thickening the pot when it comes to competition.”

SSCV athletes took 15 of the 24 top three podium finishes this weekend, a great showing for this young group of competitors.
