Vail Golf Club has 10 holes open

VAIL, Colorado ” The Vail Golf Club kicked off its 43rd season last week, and has unlimited play for $25 per person to walk the course or $37 per person including a cart.
The course and driving range are open from 9 a.m.-7 p.m. daily and has 10 holes including the back nine, with the exception of the 15th, plus hole Nos. 1 and 9.
Golfers who use carts must remain on the cart paths during early-season play to allow greens to rejuvenate and protect them for the duration of the golf season.
Golf course crews hope to open the remaining eight holes late next week, weather and conditions permitting.

Solstice race June 20
BEAVER CREEK, Colorado ” The Second annual La Sportiva Beaver Creek Summer Solstice Twilight Trail Run at Creekside Park in Beaver Creek is June 20 at 5 p.m.
Events include a free Kids’ Fun Run and obstacle course, a 10K run, and a 5K walk/run. All events benefit the Vail Valley Charitable Fund.
The course winds through thetrails of Beaver Creek and back to Creekside Park, where you’ll find your T-shirt, Moe’s BBQ, a beer, and live music, all included in your entry fee.
Prizes will be given to the top-three male and female finishers in each category.
