Vail Golf Club season pass sales begin May 1

VAIL – The Vail Recreation District will begin selling season golf passes May 1 at the Vail Golf Club. Season passes will be available for $925 until June 1 and then will be available for $975 throughout the season. Junior golf passes for VRD taxpayer dependents will be available for $150. The Vail Golf Club will open the driving range within the next 10 days, weather permitting. The golf club will kick off its 38th season May 12 with all 18-holes open, weather permitting. Season passes are available to current VRD taxpayers and their dependents. An annual application including proof of taxpayer status is required. Season pass holders are allowed to play any time, any day during the shoulder season. During the high season, season pass holders are allowed to play Monday through Thursday any time and after noon on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Play is also restricted during holidays including Memorial Day, Fourth of July and Labor Day weekends. Junior Golf Passes are available to VRD taxpayer dependents under age 18. Play is allowed on a space-available basis during the shoulder season and after 3 p.m. during the high season. New this year, the golf club will feature a fleet of 70 new carts and will replace the driving range netting within the next month. Additionally, the Clubhouse Restaurant is pleased to open for the season following a $225,000 renovation last fall. Vail Golf Club Professional Brent Redman returns for his third year.”The greens are in excellent shape for this time of year and players will enjoy our new golf carts and the renovations made at the restaurant,” Redman said.The Vail Golf Club is nestled at the base of the Gore Mountain Range and offers golfers a unique 18-hole, par 71 experience at 8,200 feet elevation. The Golf Club offers a full service golf shop, group and corporate outings, professional instruction, launch monitor, driving range, practice area, club storage, club rentals and demo days.Additionally, the Clubhouse Restaurant at the Vail Golf Club will open Memorial Day weekend featuring indoor and outdoor dining and a full-service bar.
