Vail Golf Club’s Monday Sundowner under way

VAIL, Colorado – The Vail Golf Club’s Sundowner League is under way Mondays throughout the summer. Tee-off begins at 5:45 p.m. Foursomes enjoy a nine-hole scramble, followed by a buffet dinner and drinks at the Happy Valley Grill.
Costs include green fees, cart fees, range balls and food and are $15 for Gold Pass holders, $25 for Silver Pass holders and $48 for guests.
In addition to the Sundowner League, the golf club offers free Senior Clinics from 11 a.m. to noon every other Thursday; Weekly Ladies’ Clinics from 5:30 to 6:45 p.m. on Thursdays; Coors Coaching Hour from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. on Thursdays; the Art of Scoring from 10 a.m. to noon on Sundays; Junior Golf Program, throughout the summer; Senior League on Mondays; and Men’s and Ladies’ Leagues on Wednesdays.
The Vail Golf Club, which is operated by the Vail Recreation District, is nestled at the base of the Gore Mountain Range and offers golfers a unique 18-hole, par 71 experience at 8,200 feet elevation. The golf club offers a full service golf shop, group and corporate outings, professional instruction, launch monitor, driving range, practice area, club storage, golf swing analysis, club rentals and demo days. The Vail Golf Club is Vail’s only golf course and is open to the public.
Dr. Joel Dekanich, of Vail Integrative Medical Group, took his daughter to California while he worked with The Wellness Team at the U.S. Open.
