Vail Valley: Natural foods company sponsors trail clean-up durng Teva games

Bear Naked, A natural foods company and sponsor of the Teva Mountain Games, will host a trail clean-up day in Vail June 5, the second day of the event.

Volunteers will help improve the Middle Creek/Spraddle Creek Trail in Vail.

“We are excited to host our first Bear Naked Trail Day at this year’s Teva Mountain Games,” said Ryan Therriault, senior manager, brand marketing and innovation. “Just as we are committed to providing 100 percent natural foods, we are committed to protecting and preserving the outdoor spaces we love and inspiring people to enjoy them.”

The trail day will begin at 7:30 a.m. with a breakfast of granola, Stonyfield Oikos Greek Yogurt and fresh fruit at the trailhead. Volunteers will receive a Bear Naked-branded water bottle and a limited edition “Keep It Clean” T-shirt (while supplies last) in exchange for a few hours of trail work.
