GLENWOOD SPRINGS – The 4A Slope volleyball race is getting a little whacky, people.

To review, Battle Mountain beat Glenwood Springs for the second time this season earlier this week and then the Demons came out Saturday and took down Eagle Valley in four games Saturday.

Devils coach Shawn Weatherred took Saturday’s loss on himself.

“I’ll take the blame,” the coach said. I don’t think I got them mentally ready, focused for what they had to do. Hopefully, I correct that on my part and get us ready for Tuesday.”
