Why are you running for Town Council?
I’m running for Eagle Town Council to bring fresh leadership, protect our town’s beauty and spirit, while fostering sustainable growth. As a council member and neighbor, I’ll support local businesses, ensure fiscal responsibility, and promote transparent governance. My goal is to listen, lead with integrity, and be an advocate for the people of Eagle, ensuring that Eagle stays vibrant and in sync with residents’ values for a thriving future.
What’s your plan for balancing continued growth and development in Eagle while preserving the town’s character and its scenic beauty?
As council member, I’ll ease permitting to empower local businesses, invest in infrastructure that respects our environment, and promote our outdoor identity thoughtfully to protect our wildlife. By prioritizing public input through open forums and balanced, decisive action, I’ll ensure our residents shape our path forward. With community-first driven budget oversight, we’ll fund essential services and sustainable projects, preserving Eagle’s heart and beauty for all.
How can Eagle support local businesses and workers?

Support Local Journalism
In addition to improving and streamlining permitting, we can work with the business owners of Eagle to reform the fee structures and expenses to help our commercial businesses launch, operate and expand. And a regular “Local Business Roundtable” will enable owners to influence our policies directly. Transparent budget reviews will prioritize funding for programs that strengthen local commerce and support workers, ensuring businesses thrive while maintaining Eagle’s unique character.
Many Eagle residents work in the upper valley. How do you propose to improve transportation infrastructure and manage traffic congestion as the town expands?
I will advocate on behalf of the people of Eagle with respect to the county transit operations and ensure that critical infrastructure is developed before approving expansion of the town. Most importantly, these decisions need to be based on prudent financial analysis and within the means of our town’s budget.
What strategies would you implement to maintain affordable housing options for residents as rising property values continue to outpace area median incomes?
Further to my answers on the other questions, I will strive to reform our permitting, fee structures and the processes relating to the review and approval locally. By all historical measures, mountain construction has been very expensive given logistics, material and labor cost. This is not a problem exclusive to Eagle. However, we (the Town Council) can work to ease the burden of developing future workforce housing.
