The Multimillion-Dollar Transformation of Aspen Glen Club is Completed

Aspen Glen Club, nestled in the picturesque landscapes of the Roaring Fork Valley, has just completed a monumental transformation through a comprehensive, multimillion-dollar, multi-phase renovation project. Initiated in October 2022, this ambitious endeavor was designed to elevate the Club’s amenities and overall member experience, reflecting the Club’s commitment to excellence and innovation.
The first phase of the project focused on enhancing the core aspects of the club, beginning with the golf course. The bunkers on all 18 holes have been completely overhauled, featuring reshaping, liner installations, and new, brilliant sand. These improvements ensure durability and a premium playing experience. Additionally, the installation of a state-of-the-art irrigation control system aims to reduce water consumption while providing a more consistent playing surface, showcasing the Club’s dedication to sustainability. The short game area has been reimagined to include new chipping and putting greens, bunkers, and pitching areas, offering members an enhanced practice environment. Complementing these changes is the construction of a new driving range, designed with laser-leveled tee decks and an enhanced hitting area to complete the state-of-the-art practice facilities. The Club also undertook the significant task of replacing lake liners on the back nine holes, ensuring the long-term health of the golf course and preserving the natural beauty of the surrounding areas. This environmentally conscious effort included the relocation of stocked trout to maintain the local wildlife ecosystem.

As the project progressed into its second phase, the focus shifted towards expanding and upgrading the Club’s facilities. A new, high-performance fitness center was unveiled, featuring Technogym equipment, an expansive workout space, a dedicated group exercise studio, and a private personal training studio. This facility has become a hub for Member wellness and fitness. The addition of two golf simulator bays in the new sports lounge, The Den, has revolutionized the golfing experience at the Club. These bays offer a professional fitting experience and serve as a perfect venue for playing on rainy days or hosting events with friends. The adjacent renovated lounge space provides a cozy setting for after-golf relaxation and socialization. The golf shop has been expanded and refreshed, now offering more space to showcase a wide range of apparel and equipment brands. Members can enjoy a modern shopping experience, enhanced by the new layout and exciting new merchandise displays.

In the aquatics area, the pool has undergone a complete resurfacing, coupled with the addition of new resort-style furniture and fixtures. These upgrades have transformed the pool into a luxurious oasis for members to unwind and enjoy the scenic mountain views. The landscaping enhancements further complement the refreshed atmosphere, making it an ideal spot for relaxation. Recognizing the growing popularity of pickleball, the Club has constructed four dedicated pickleball courts designed to offer a top-notch pickleball experience comparable to the Club’s renowned clay tennis court facilities.
