‘Vail on Sale’ website improved
AVON — VailOnSale.com, the Vail Valley’s clearinghouse for lodging deals and discounts, just got a facelift. While the site still remains the only place that can provide users a quick and comprehensive overview of available rooms throughout the entire Vail Valley, it is now easier to find the best deals.
VailOnSale.com, run and managed by the Vail Valley Partnership, has been a long-time local secret for great lodging markdowns in the valley. As the site has grown in popularity, Front Range guests have tapped into this resource, and more and more destination travelers are finding their way to VailOnSale.com as well. While there are many big-name booking engines available, VailOnSale.com has found its own niche as the place to look for last-minute, discounted lodging.
“The upgraded VailonSale.com builds on our historical success of driving overnight traffic to our lodging partners and their ability to offer great lodging deals to our destination guests. The typical VailonSale.com guests is loyal to Vail and Beaver Creek,” Partnership CEO Chris Romer said.
The new website is now filled with more robust photography to better showcase participating lodging partners. It is easier to access key information, including stay dates, price points, desired location and lodging type. The launch of the new site also means it is available on mobile devices. Due to its design, VailOnSale.com modifies to accommodate any tablet, smartphone or monitor size.
Another way the site is consumer-focused is offering a “My Dates are Flexible” option, showing visitors additional dates and corresponding prices around their originally requested stay dates. This option is intended to encourage visitors to either extend their stay in the Vail Valley, or shift their dates to receive a better discount.
