Crashes block I-70 on Vail Pass

VAIL PASS, Colorado – The eastbound lanes of-Interstate 70 are blocked and the westbound lanes are closed on Vail Pass Friday afternoon.

The eastbound lanes are closed at mile marker 185 and the westbound lanes are closed at mile marker 190.

It is unknown when the freeway will reopen. Snow remains in the forecast the rest of today and tonight.
