EVHS Dance Team Camp
What: Local girls in kindergarten through fifth grade can celebrate the last day of school at the EVHS Dance Team Annual Slumber Soiree.

Details: Girls will learn a dance routine, have a pizza dinner, tell stories, and spend the night with the Devil Dancers. A light breakfast will be served in the morning, and girls will be sent home with a CD of their routine music. Youth Baseball Opening Day
What: Western Eagle County Metropolitan Recreation District will host an opening day festival for 600 youth baseball and softball participants.

Time: 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
Where: WECMRD fields in Eagle
Detail: The day includes speed pitch and radar gun, concessions, raffle tickets and prizes, Eagle Fire trucks, carnival games, business booths, face painting, dunk tank, Rockies skill challenge, character appearances and inflatable bounce castle.
Gypsum Creek Sprint Triathlon
What: Swiming, biking and running event for the whole family
When: Saturday, June 14
Time: 7:30 a.m. to noon
Where: Gypsum Recreation Center and the Gypsum Creek Valley
Details: The first adult heat will go off at 7:30 a.m. Kids heats will begin at 9:30 am. Adults (ages 12 and up) will swim 500 meters, bike 10 miles up Valley Road and back, and run 3.1 miles through Chatfield Corners and Cotton Ranch neighborhoods. Kids (ages 6 to 11) will swim 100 meters, bike two miles and run on mile. This event is perfect for first timers, as well as seasoned veterans. Cost is $30. Yoga, Bikes and Brews
What: Yoga class followed by a bike ride ending Bonfire Brewing for an evening celebration.

6 p.m. guided ride around Eagle Ranch trails with members of the Cycle Effect
Details: Following the ride, participants will gather at Bonfire Brewing for buy one, get one free pints.
Neon Dash
What: Dress up in 1980s neon gear for a 5K under the stars, with paint and glow sticks provided by WECMRD.

Time: 7 to 10 p.m.
Where: Gypsum Creek Golf Course
Details: The 5K will circle the golf course and feature three fun-filled glow zones. Runners will rock out to the jammin’ music and black lights will illuminate vivid colors.
