Obituary: Gretta Assaly

June 16, 1939 – November 29, 2025 
(nee Brown) Passed away on November 29, 2025 in Milwaukee, WI. Gretta was born in Toronto, Canada on June 16, 1939 to parents Gretta H. and Arthur B. Brown who predeceased her. She is also predeceased by her beloved husband, Edmund “Ed” Assaly. She is survived by her brother, Mark Brown and extended family including nephews Aidan and Alistair, and niece, Teresa Schmautz and many beloved friends and colleagues.

Visitation will take place on Saturday, December 13, from 10:00AM to 11:00AM at Feerick Funeral Home, 2025 E. Capitol Dr., Shorewood, WI 53211. A service honoring and celebrating Gretta’s life will take place at 11:00AM. The service will be live streamed, and the link for the live stream available in the obituary on http://www.feerickfuneralhome.com. Interment will follow at 12:30PM at Forest Home Cemetery, Milwaukee, WI.
