Patricia Barrette Carpenter, born on September 12, 1938,
passed away on October 22, 2025, in West Palm Beach, Florida.
She is preceded in death by her husband M. Scott Carpenter, son Ralph Fletcher III and grandson Edward Yankowski Jr.
Patricia is survived by her children, Jeffery S. Fletcher and Ashley F. Yankowski, as well as her grandchildren, Mary Fletcher, Madison Fletcher, Richard Fletcher, Amanda Brimley, Patrick Z. Yankowski, brother Thomas Barrette and sister Lana Barrette Djenfer.
She served as a board member of the Astronaut Scholarship Foundation. She enjoyed a rich life filled with travel and adventures. Her favorite places were New York City and Vail, Colorado.
Patricia had a special bond with her dog Scottie and lived life to the fullest.
