Three designers join Slifer Designs

EDWARDS – Slifer Designs has added Jenny Hathaway to its interior architectural design team, and Melissa Hailes and Jessica Thompson to its residential interior design team. Hathaway earned her bachelor of arts in interior architecture from Kansas State University in 1996 and then returned to her hometown of Dallas to begin her career in architectural design.

She spent two years working with Chris Consultants, followed by three years with Morrison, Seifert and Murphy specializing in hospitality projects like country club and high-end hotel and resort design. Most recently she did design work for two Denver-based firms, CHM interiors and Design Lines, where she continued her high-end hospitality projects for well-known customers such as the Black Rock Country Club in Cour d’Alene, Idaho, Yellowstone National Park, and the Grand Canyon National Park

Hailes is from Monument, Colo., and received her bachelor of arts degree in interior design from Colorado State University in May, 2003. While a student, she interned for two Denver-based interior design firms, Design Lines and Designvision. After graduating and before joining Slifer Designs, Melissa worked for The Design Source in Sugarland,Texas designing high-end residential and model homes.

A Kansas City native, Thompson received her bachelor of arts degree in interior design from the Art Institute of Colorado in September.
