Vail forecast: Warm and sunny

VAIL, Colorado –Little more than late-day thunderstorms are forecast for the Vail Valley through the weekend, according to the National Weather Service.

But highs could rise toward the mid-80s by Saturday.

The forecast for every day through Monday is pretty similar: Mostly sunny with a chance of gusty winds. Highs will range from near 78 on Wednesday to 81 on Sunday, with a potential spike on Saturday.

Night-time lows will be in the mid-40s, the Weather Service says.
