Vail Mountain throwing a party Saturday for locals in the ‘100 Day Club’

The Epic Pass will celebrate its more prolific skiers on Saturday at the Express Lift Bar from 2 to 5 p.m.
Last season, Vail Mountain started its 100-Day Club, giving pins to skiers and snowboarders who were on Vail Mountain 100 days or more. The program also included a 25-Day Club, a 50-Day Club and a 75-Day Club pin.
But the program was so popular, by the time the mountain closed, it had already run out of 100-Day Club pins. This year, with a party scheduled for the day before closing day, Vail Mountain still has plenty of pins available to locals who made it out to the mountain 25, 50, 75 or 100 days or more.
The party, known as the 100 Day Milestone Party, celebrates the pin program in general, but is being thrown specifically to celebrate those locals who skied 100 days at Vail Mountain this year. Anyone is invited to attend, but the free gift, raffle and other giveaways will be limited to those who are part of the 100-Day Club.
DJ Littlefoot will be providing the entertainment from 2 to 5 p.m.

There will be a free gift for all 100-Day Club Members, plus raffle giveaways from Helly Hansen, Oakley, Go Pro, Icelantic Skis, Michelob Ultra and more.
To enter the raffle, those in attendance will have to present their 100-day pin or show their “days this season” tab on the My Epic App for a gift and entry to the raffle.
To claim your pin, visit a Vail Mountain ticket window with your pass, and the attendant will verify your number of days and issue you a pin.
Vail Mountain spokesperson John Plack said the idea to give pins away for skiing milestones was the idea of Carol and Arnie Pizer, along with Dave Rose from the Vail Mountain Guest Services team.
