Eagle County BMX Race Camp

This camp covers the basics of BMX racing. Participants will learn basic bike maintenance, one-foot starts, gate starts, straight-a-ways, rhythm sections and jumping techniques. First time, beginner and intermediate riders are welcome. Participants must wear long-sleeved pants and shirts and wear a full-face helmet. Helmets and bikes are available for renting during camp on a limited basis, first come, first served. Bikes must be functional (brakes in working condition, no flats, etc.) and have no pegs or kickstands due to safety concerns. Mountain bikes are not ideal for this camp. BMX bikes and dirt jumpers are excellent.
