Avon’s Icing on the Lake party is Dec. 12

AVON, Colorado – The town of Avon ‘s annual Icing on the Lake celebration is from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. on Dec. 12 at Nottingham Park.
With $1 skate rentals, families can ice skate on Nottingham Lake and then gather around the bonfire and have a cup of free chili. There will also be face-painting, a balloon sculptor, winter holiday crafts and snowmobile rides for kids. Santa will visit from 2:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m.
