Business name: OAC Management Inc.Date opened: December.Owner: Erik W. Peterson.Contact info: P.O. Box 2399, Edwards, CO 81632; erikpeterson@oacminc.com; phone, 390-0164; fax 926-4163.What goods or services do you provide? OAC Management is a full-service development and construction-management company that serves lending institutions, private owners, development companies and municipalities with project management and administrative services. All those entities have their own assumptions and expectations of what they believe the final product should look like and what they are expected to do.What strategy do you use to differentiate your business from your competition? Using what we call organizational process management, OAC Management fleshes out through a five-step process all of the requirements and expectations of all of the parties involved and creates a work plan to ensure a successful project. Our services provide the communications between all parties and make certain the team is working toward the same goal: what the owner has dreamed of from the beginning. What philosophy do you follow in dealing with your customers? What can your customers expect from you? OAC Management will provide our clients clarity, direction and a plan for executing projects. We will provide well-trained and professional personnel who implement the work plans created by the team. We always approach every person and situation with integrity, honesty and respect, and we never compromise the truth. OAC Management will always believe what our current culture has seemed to have lost that our word is our bond and a handshake our guarantee. We will do what we say, complete what we are assigned and approach all situations in humility, honoring truth.Tell us a little about your background, education and experience: I have worked in development and construction for more than 18 years. I graduated from the University of Wyoming in 1987 with a bachelors degree in industrial technology with an emphasis in mathematics. In 1990, I went to work on a high-end private-mountain project in Montana and subsequently started providing development, construction and technology consulting services to large development, construction and technology companies including MBK Development & Construction, Koll Development & Construction, Ernst & Young, Catellus Development Corp. and Traer Creek Development. As Vice President of Construction for Traer Creek Development, I completed construction of $100 million worth of infrastructure and improvements that included the new interchange on Interstate 70, a bridge over the Eagle River, a railroad underpass, and more than two miles of roadway, utilities and landscaping. What is the most humorous thing that has happened at your business since you opened? We all do laugh and have a good time at work, but its usually at my expense as those around me poke fun at my attention to detail and organization what they call being anal.
