Bravo! breaks out soiree series in Vail

VAIL – Monday is Bravo!’s first soiree of the summer.
The Bravo! Vail Valley Music Festival hosts the Linda and Mitch Hart Soirees Series at private residences throughout the Vail Valley. Each soiree features performances by world-renowned chamber musicians and is catered by top local chefs. Tickets, which have just been released for purchase to the general public, cost $225. That includes the concert, cocktails and dinner.
“These homes are spectacular, the views are amazing, and the food is incredible,” said Sarah Paladino, Bravo!’s development and events manager. “Not only do attendees get an intimate performance from the musicians, but they can sit down with them to dinner, share a cocktail and discuss the evening’s music. Attending a soiree is a unique and magical experience. It really makes you feel like you’re a part of the Bravo! family.”
Tonight’s soiree is hosted by Vera and John Hathaway and celebrates the 200th anniversary of Schuman’s birth. Soloists include pianist Inon Barnatan and the Daedlus String Quartet. Dinner is catered by Luc and Liz Meyer, courtesy of The Left Bank Restaurant. The soiree kicks off at 6 p.m. with passed appetizers and cocktails, followed by a chamber concert and dinner.
In addition to tonight’s concert, tickets for Bravo!’s soiree on July 26 at the home of Joyce and Paul Krasnow are now on sale. Programming includes cabaret selections and works from Schumann and Haydn. Featured soloists this evening include pianist Orion Weiss, violinist Erin Keefe and cellist Zuill Bailey. Dinner will be catered by Foods of Vail with Executive Chef Tracey Van Curan.
Also, tickets for the soiree on Aug. 1 are now available, which is at the home of Craig Foley. Programming for this night includes works by J.S. Bach, Vivaldi, Haydn and Mouret. Featured soloists this evening include Bravo!’s artistic director and flutist Eugenia Zukerman, violinists Chee-Yun and Nick Tavini, double bassist Peter Lloyd, bassoonist Peter Kolkay, harpsichordist Kathleen McIntosh and the Rossetti String Quartet. Dinner will be catered by Mirabelle Restaurant with Chef Daniel Joly.
