Favorite school moment from any year: “Wait Tagert has a sister? Whoa you and Tagert are twins?”

Summer plans: Skiing in Oregon and New Zealand, cabin dinners, and long runs.
Where are you headed this fall: Back here for my gap year before going to Bates College.

Favorite school moment: senior has been a true year to remember. Everything about is year is something I will remember into my adulthood.
Summer plans: create everlasting teenage memories with friends, and work.
Where are you headed this fall: This fall i will be attending CMC.
If you are leaving eagle county, what will you miss the most: I will not be leaving, so I’m not really going to miss anything.
If you are staying, what are you happiest about keeping: I am happy to be able to stay close to my family and friends.
In 10 years you hope to be: I hope to be in a new chapter of my life, one where i am completely happy and successful with my career of choice.
Favorite class you took: By far my favorite class was honors anatomy and physiology.
Class you wish had been offered: A more interactive science class.

Jessica Long
School: Eagle Valley High School
Favorite school moment from any year: So much love for the cast and crew of Shrek the Musical my Junior year. It was by far the highlight of my high school career 🙂
Summer plans: Lots of traveling and theatre camp in July! Also spending a lot of quality time with my friends before I leave for school!
Where you’re headed this fall: Pace University in New York City
If you’re leaving Eagle County, what will you miss most: The mountains and the rest of the beautiful scenery… Also will miss all the people here… Friends and family!!
In 10 years you’ll be: Hopefully performing in a Broadway show 🙂 if not then I want to be running a small business

Summer plans: Run the Leadville Marathon, go on adventures with Nick Braun, work, and have a sick time.
Where you’re headed this fall: CU BOULDER… SKO BUFFS!
If you’re leaving Eagle County, what will you miss most: The roundabouts… Haha, I’ll miss the small town feel of Edwards and this rad community.
In 10 years you’ll be: Homeless. Living in a Westphalia van somewhere in Europe.
Favorite class you took: AP Biology with the one and only Tim Caudill
Class you wish had been offered: Dance Class, I’m really bad at dancing…

Anna Skelton
School: Battle Mountain High School
Favorite school moment from any year: Either in second grade when my teacher got up on a table to do a celebratory dance and the table collapsed, or this year when Mr. Hoevel locked himself on the school roof after a physics lesson.
Summer plans: I’m heading over to Europe for a solo through Paris, Croatia, Slovenia, Venice, and Austria followed by a road trip in the US with my Austrian best friend
Where you’re headed this fall: Embry Riddle Aeronautical University in Arizona to study Global Security and Intelligence Studies with a Chinese Track and a double minor in Arabic and International Law (but plans tend to change)
If you’re leaving Eagle County, what will you miss most: Growing up here has been such a gift, there’s going to be a lot to miss! I think I’ll miss the mountains most of all, and the wonder of never knowing what you’ll find around the corner.
In 10 years you’ll be: If I told you, I’d have to kill you
Favorite class you took: AP/DE U.S. History with Mr. Cope or perhaps A.P. Physics with Mr. Hoevel
Class you wish had been offered: Mountaineering or Wilderness Survival
Leslie Cano

If you’re staying, what are you happiest about keeping: Family and friends 🙂 and my bed!
In 10 years you’ll be: Traveling and volunteering around the world.

Class you wish had been offered: More food and nutrition classes.
Anything else? I would just like to thank all my friends, teachers, coaches, mentors and especially my mom and dad for always supporting me and never giving up on me. And also I would like to thank my brother for always making me smile.

Favorite school moment from any year: Senior year relaxing and incubating within the realm of senioritis. And becoming a Boettcher Finalist, that was cool.
Summer plans: VACATION WOO. And getting ready for my next four years as a Buffalo

If you’re leaving Eagle County, what will you miss most: The mountains, ski resort, and midnight pool hopping in Vail
If you’re staying, what are you happiest about keeping: I am happiest to take my friendships and closest relationships with me to college.
In 10 years you’ll be: In Medical School on the path to becoming an Orthopedic Surgeon!

Class you wish had been offered: The next three years of French, but shout out to ECSD for dropping the French program!

School: Vail Ski and Snowboard Academy
Favorite school moment from any year- 5th Grade Graduation from Bingham Farms Elementary School.
Give a shout out: My family and teachers for helping me to stay caught up with my school work, and for their endless support.
Summer plans: I will be in Park City training with the U.S. Snowboarding Team and taking classes at Westminster in Salt Lake.
Where are you headed this fall: I will be continuing classes at Westminster in Salt Lake City!
If you’re leaving Eagle County, what will you miss most: I’ll be back in December, but I will definitely miss my family and the mountains!
In 10 years you’ll be: In 10 years I will be a Westminster graduate and continuing my competitive snowboarding career!

Anything else? I’m thankful to have grown up in Eagle County, growing up here had taught me that it’s okay to stand out and that I’m capable of big things. Growing up in a small town has taught me you have to work even harder to stand out.
