Copy Plus in Eagle is still going strong

EAGLE, Colorado ” Lisa Kosak, a former longtime Eagle, Colorado resident who was recently forced to move to Florida for health reasons, is missed.

However, Copy Plus, her nine-year business venture, is still going strong.

Copy Plus prides itself on being able to take care of nearly every small-business or home-office need. That list includes designing and printing business cards and letters, scanning, ordering office supplies, sending FedEx and UPS packages, laminating and more.

Although Kosak is still involved in the business, Erin Ivie has taken over as general manager.

Ivie, an Eagle Valley High School graduate, has been working for Kosak sporadically for eight years.

“Over the years, we have become really good friends, and I have learned the business inside and out,” Ivie said.

So when it came time for Kosak to choose someone to run the business in her absence, it was a no-brainer.

“She had all the qualifications, and she is a go-getter,” Kosak said.

Before Ivie became general manager in June, she was a television producer working for Plum TV. Ivie said she loves her new job, citing the daily interaction with locals and helping businesses.

“I like helping people try to show off their business’s best side,” Ivie said.

Ivie said the hardest part about her job is that people miss Kosak.

“People remember the way she used to do things. It is different now that she is not here, but I am trying to do my best,” Ivie said.

Kosak and her two boys are also trying their best to adjust to life in Florida.

“I can’t even tell you how much I miss Eagle. But you got to do what you got to do and get as healthy as you can,” Kosak said.
