Country Music Hall of Famer plays Friday night at Vilar

BEAVER CREEK – Despite a death in the family, Kathy Mattea is continuing her western tour Friday at the Vilar Center.

From the Country Music Hall of Fame to the Grand Ole Opry, Mattea has throngs of fans the world over. This two-time Grammy winning artist was voted Country Music Association’s Top Female Vocalist numerous times, and she has had 18 Top Ten Hits including “Eighteen Wheels and a Dozen Roses,” “Where’ve You Been,” “Love at the Five and Dime,” “Come From the Heart” and “Burnin’ Old Memories.”
