I-70 eastbound reopens following 6-vehicle crash

Both lanes of Eastbound Interstate 70 closed over Vail Pass around 3:50 p.m., Friday, according to an Eagle County Alert. The closure begins at mile marker 180, or East Vail. The road reopened shortly after 5 p.m.

The closure is due to a six-vehicle crash around mile marker 189, near Vail Pass Summit, according to Trooper Sherri Mendez, a public information officer with Colorado State Patrol. The crash was minor, with no injuries reported, according to Mendez.
