The Suza Baja Grill in Edwards will donate 50 percent of its sales to The Heuga Center for Multiple Sclerosis, a longtime Vail Valley nonprofit, as part of its grand opening celebration Aug. 28 from 4 to 10 p.m.

The event will include food and drink specials, free samples and will help local families living with MS. Suza Baja Grill’s food is inspired by the surf shops and taco shacks of the Baja Peninsula.

“The owners of Suza Baja Grill are Vail Valley locals and dedicated to contributing to our community” said Brian White, one of the principals of Suza Baja Grill. “We are excited to celebrate our opening by partnering with The Heuga Center for MS which has been an outstanding local nonprofit for over 25 years.”

“It’s great when a new business is so dedicated to helping the community,” said The Heuga Center’s CEO Kim Sharkey. “The donation from Suza directly impacts our ability to provide scholarships for people with MS and their support partner to attend our CAN DO program.”

The Center’s next five-day CAN DO program takes place in Vail Oct. 14-18.
