Aspen Times Staff Report
Snowmass, CO Colorado

SNOWMASS VILLAGE, Colorado ” A guest fell from the fourth-floor balcony of The Stonebridge Inn to the ground on Sunday night, according to Snowmass, Colorado Village Police Chief Art Smythe.

Snowmass Village police responded, as did members of Snowmass Fire and Ambulance, said Smythe. An ambulance reportedly transported the man to Aspen Valley Hospital, from where he was transferred to a hospital in Grand Junction.

Smythe described the man’s injuries as “multi-system trauma.”

“He was seriously injured, I think it’s safe to say,” said Smythe.

Little information was available about the man, or his condition, on Tuesday, but Smythe did say the man is a resident of Maryland.

No foul play is suspected in the incident, said Smythe.
