Important voter registration information
This November Eagle County will conduct a mail ballot election. Ballots will be mailed between October 7 and 17 to each active registered voter and will not be forwarded if undeliverable but will be returned to the Clerk and Recorder’s office in Eagle.
Voters who do not receive their ballots should contact the Clerk’s office for a replacement ballot.
Requests for absentee ballots can be obtained at any of our offices, or on-line at eaglecounty.us/clerk. Spanish language translations of ballot issues will be available on request.
Voted ballots must be returned to the Clerk and Recorder’s office no later than 7:00 p.m. on November 1, 2005 to be counted.
Electors may return their ballots by mail, with the proper postage affixed, or they may be hand delivered to one of the County Clerk’s offices in Avon, Eagle, or El Jebel.
All offices are open from 7:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday, and 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Election Day.
The last day to register to vote for the November 1, 2005 election is October 3, 2005. Residents who are not currently registered, are 18 years of age and are citizens of the United States may register in person at the Clerk and Recorder offices located in Avon, Eagle or El Jebel or at any Town Clerk’s office.
Mail-in registration forms are also available on line at eaglecounty.us/clerk.
Voters who are already registered but have moved or changed mailing addresses must update their records no later than October 3.
Address changes can be made on forms available at any of our offices, or on line at eaglecounty.us/clerk.
