Johnson & Johnson, Tyco win ethics awards at Beaver Creek forum

At this year’s 2004 Changing the Game Forum taking place in Beaver Creek today through Saturday, the Center for Corporate Change will publicly recognize two organizations for their excellence in ethical behavior. The first company is being honored for long-term excellence in ethical behavior while the other company was selected for a return to ethical behavior.Johnson & Johnson will be recognized with the award for “Excellence in Ethical Leadership”. Johnson & Johnson was selected for its relationships with customers, employees, communities, and shareholders.The Outstanding Improvement in Board Governance award will go to Tyco International. Following a management scandal that gained international attention, Tyco’s new leadership made drastic changes, ranging from replacing board members to hiring an executive vice president for corporate governance. The awards will be given on Friday.
