Local company giving away solar array to homeowner
MINTURN — After seven years in the Vail Valley, Active Energies is celebrating in style — the Minturn-based business is installing a three-kilowatt solar array on one home in Eagle County at no cost and is hosting a free party, open to the public, to announce the winner. The celebration — featuring free beer and food — is June 6 starting at 5 p.m. at Crazy Mountain Brewery in Edwards.
In addition to the free solar array, Active Energies will also be sending some lucky party-goers home with prizes, including Nest thermostats, LED lights and other gear.
Eagle County homeowners interested in being entered to win the free solar installation must sign up for a free site visit to confirm that the property is eligible and that a solar installation would be feasible.
