Medical Center foundation’s dinner dance is Dec. 28
The Vail Valley Medical Center Foundation’s 23rd Annual Family Dinner Dance is scheduled for Dec. 28 at the Vail Marriott Mountain Resort & Spa. Reservations can be made by calling 569-7484The gala is the signature fund-raiser for the Vail Valley Medical Center Foundation.”The event is held annually on Dec. 28. It is a Vail tradition and a special day for family to share in the spirit of the season,” said Suzanne Sloan, senior director of development for Vail Valley Medical Center.The evening begins with cocktails at 6:30 p.m., followed by dinner at 8 p.m. Music by Full House provides a venue for children and their parents to dance the night away. Dress for the evening is black tie or mountain elegance.Vail Valley Medical Center started as a one-physician clinic in the 1960s and now serves Eagle and Summit counties with seven locations. In its short life, Vail has gained international recognition for orthopedic care, while meeting regional needs with high end trauma, surgery, birthing, cancer, home care and hospice services, Sloan says.The cost to attend the dinner dance is $225 per adult and $85 for children under 21.
