Where are you originally from?: “Weston, Colo., which is 20 miles west of Trinidad.”

Where did you go to college?: Trinidad State Junior College/Adams State College
How long have you been teaching at MMS?: “25 years – 28 years in Eagle County.”
What got you into teaching?: “Most of my college friends became teachers. I enjoyed working with students at various schools while attending college. I thoroughly enjoy being in the classroom.”
Most embarrassing moment: “Sliding off the road near the school while running late to a morning faculty meeting. My “55 GMC pickup still has the dent on the front bumper to remind me.”
Favorite book: “Centennial.”
Favorite movie: “How the West was Won.”
Favorite food: “A good steak with hickory-flavored meat sauce.”
Your hope for the school year: “To prepare these students to move on to the next level.”
