Vail Daily letter: A fine man

I am sad to hear of Peter Franke’s death. I am certain the Gramshammers will miss him both as a friend and as a superb chef. I always knew Peter to be very friendly, a good neighbor and very accommodating with special treatment from the kitchen at Pepi’s. My heart goes out to his family and friends.

Vail has been lucky to have such a fine man in its midst.
