Ziggy Marley to play Dobson, Dec. 6
VAIL The producers of Vail Snow Daze, the super charged mix of early season snow, music and mountain lifestyle, announced Monday the addition of Reggae icon Ziggy Marley to the festivals already jam-packed musical lineup which also includes Ludacris and The Roots. The concert is on Dec. 6, 2007, at Dobson Arena in Vail.Ziggy Marley, son of legendary roots reggae artist Bob Marley, released his second solo album, Love is My Religion (Tuff Gong Worldwide), in July of 2006. The album won Marley a Grammy Award in 2007 for Best Reggae Album. In addition to Love is My Religion, Marleys musical career has spanned more than two decades and includes numerous albums as the driving force of The Melody Makers and another solo album entitled Dragonfly (RCA Victor Group), released in 2003.The addition of Ziggy Marley to this already powerful musical line-up solidifies the fact that there is no better place than Vail Snow Daze to kick off the 2007-2008 ski season, says Amy Hornyak of Highline Sports & Entertainment, the events producer.
