Letter: From the Eagle Police Department, thanks for Shop with a Cop support
The Eagle Police Department would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the businesses, residents, and community members who generously donated to this year’s Shop with a Cop program. The generosity and spirit of giving shown by local businesses, residents, and our schools truly embody the heart of what makes Eagle so special. Thanks to your overwhelming support — over $7,500 was raised, allowing local first responders to provide a special holiday experience for children and families throughout the town of Eagle.
Each year, the Shop with a Cop program brings together Eagle police officers, first responders, and the children of our community for a unique and exciting experience. The money raised through donations goes directly toward making the holidays brighter for local families, helping to provide toys, clothing, food, and even car seats. This year, thanks to your contributions, many children and families were able to enjoy a Christmas they’ll never forget.
We also want to take a moment to recognize and thank our local schools — Eagle Valley Elementary, Brush Creek Elementary, and Eagle Valley Middle School — for their unwavering support. Their assistance in selecting students and families for the program is invaluable and ensures that children and families can benefit from the kindness of our community.
Thank you again to everyone who made this year’s Shop with a Cop program a success. We look forward to continuing this tradition in the years to come.
