Nate Peterson

Nate Peterson grew up in Colorado and got his start working in newspapers at the Boulder Daily Camera. He’s in his second stint at the Vail Daily, where he landed in 2003 after graduating from Luther College in Decorah, Iowa. He has also worked at The Aspen Times, where he headed up Winter X Games coverage and was the 2010 Vancouver Olympics correspondent for Colorado Mountain News Media, and at, where he ran the NFL vertical for nearly three years. He has also been a contributor to The New York Times, covering World Cup skiing, snowboarding, cycling and college football. He couldn’t be happier to be back in the Vail Valley, this time with his wife, Emily, and two kids, Grace and Max.
