I-70 westbound fully open following vehicle fire Tuesday afternoon

Interstate 70 westbound lanes closed around 2:14 p.m., Tuesday, April 2, due to a vehicle fire, according to an Eagle County Alert. One lane reopened around 2:50 p.m. and the roadway was completely open by 3 p.m.

The closure is near mile marker 181, or east of Vail.
