Local bands The Runaway Grooms, Hardscrabble to perform late-night shows at Bonfire Block Party this summer
Admission to the after parties, called Happy Endings, is included in the Block Party ticket price
Local bands The Runaway Grooms and Hardscrabble will be the featured bands for the Bonfire Block Party after parties, held at the Bonfire Brewing Taproom beginning at 10:30 p.m. Friday, May 31, and Saturday, June 1.
Admission to the after parties, called Happy Endings, is included in the Block Party ticket price.
“All too often, we’re left wanting just one more song as the Block Party main stage wraps up,” said Andy Jessen, of Bonfire Brewing, in a news release. “In an effort to remedy that, we’re adding two Happy Ending shows on the new patio at the Bonfire Taproom to ensure we all head home filled up on tunes.”
The Runaway Grooms trio covers a variety of musical styles and provides a multi-instrumental take on classic hits from the ’60s on. Hardscrabble has made a name for itself delivering pure Colorado bluegrass and has shared the stage with the likes of Fruition, Horseshoes & Hand Grenades and Great American Taxi.
The Bonfire Block Party features three stages on the streets of downtown Eagle. The lineup also includes Trombone Shorty & Orleans Avenue; Railroad Earth; North Mississippi Allstars; J. Roddy Walston & The Business; Black Joe Lewis & the Honeybears; Ripe; The Lil Smokies; The Evolution; The Sessh; and one more band to be announced. The full music schedule will be released on May 7.
General admission and VIP experience tickets are on sale for the two-day festival, in addition to the Sunday Sayonara closing concert and brunch that features The Lil Smokies on June 2.
A portion of all Block Party proceeds will benefit Eagle County nonprofit organization The Cycle Effect. For more information and to purchase Bonfire Block Party tickets, visit http://www.bonfireblockparty.com.
