Denver man dies in skiing accident at Vail
The cause of death is not yet known
Gabriel Klein, 35, of Denver, died in a ski accident at Vail Mountain on Saturday, March 2.
Eagle County Coroner Kara Bettis identified Klein and said the cause of death is pending.
According to a statement from Vail Resorts, members of Vail Ski Patrol responded to a ski incident on an intermediate trail on Vail Mountain. The man was then transported to the Vail Health Emergency Department.
“Vail Mountain, Vail Ski Patrol and the entire Vail Resorts family extend our deepest sympathy and support to our guest’s family and friends,” said Beth Howard, Vail Mountain vice president and chief operating officer, in the statement.
