U.S. Highway 6 over Loveland Pass is closed Sunday, June 15, due to a mountain slide that the Colorado Department of Transportation describes in a Facebook post as 100 feet wide and 15-20 feet deep.

The pass closed at 5:25 a.m., and there is no estimated reopening time yet. Access to Arapahoe Basin Ski Area will remain open. The public is advised to remain clear of the area while it is closed, according to CDOT.
