Summer is starting to kick into high gear with the return of lift access up the mountain, farmers' markets and festivals

Pride in the Park

Come to Avon’s Harry A. Nottingham Park on Saturday for a day filled with fun and friendship at Pride in the Park, an event that celebrates Pride Month and marks an important time to reflect on advocacy, visibility and support of the LBGTQ+ and its allies in Eagle County and beyond.

The event has grown a lot throughout the day-long celebration. Here’s Saturday’s schedule in Avon:

  • 12 p.m. – Vendors open, free yoga (bring your own yoga mat)
  • 1 p.m. – Pride Welcome
  • 2 p.m. – Pawshion Fashion Show featuring pets
  • 3 p.m. –Variety Show
  • 4 p.m. – Out & Proud Drag Show
  • 5 p.m. – Pride Parade
  • 6 p.m. – Free concert
  • 9 p.m. – Pride After Party at Chasing Rabbits Vail

Farmers’ Markets start in Vail and Edwards

Vail Farmers’ Market and Art Show

The largest farmers market in Eagle County is the Vail Farmers Market and Art Show, which kicks off this Sunday and runs every Sunday until Oct. 4 in Vail Village. With over 155 vendors there’s a lot to check out, including just going there to grab a bite to eat since there are dozens of food vendors. Colorado farm partners including Wynn Farms, Mountain Bluebird, Vista Orchard, Mt. Garfield Produce, Peak Farms, and Forte Fruits will be in Vail on Sundays this summer.

The market runs from 9:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. throughout Vail Village, predominantly on East Meadow Drive and along the International Bridge. For more details go to vailfarmersmarket.com. Please note that the town of Vail is charging for summer parking with one hour free and then will cost $2 per hour, with a maximum of $10 per day.

Edwards Farmers’ Market

The farmers market in Edwards is back again this summer at the Edwards Plaza (near Fiesta’s, Marko’s Pizza, Alpine Bank and Ed’z Restaurant). The market will be held on Saturdays from now until Sept. 19 from 9 a.m. until 1 p.m. Check for details, vendor spotlights and more information at the Edwards Farmers Market Instagram page.

Vail Craft Beer Classic

The Vail Craft Beer Classic celebrates 10 years this summer.

The Vail Craft Beer Classic returns to Vail this weekend, and this year they are celebrating 10 years of bringing the suds to you. To celebrate the milestone anniversary, the festival is also bringing keg bowling, stein hoisting, a photo booth, and an on-site marketplace for shopping. WaxTrax will be spinning vinyl throughout the weekend with records available for purchase.

There will be over 20 Colorado breweries pouring, including award-winning names like Ratio Beerworks and Westbound & Down. There will also be cider, seltzer and spirits with local spirits maker 10th Mountain Whiskey and Spirits Company there as well.

Live music runs both nights at the event. Scott Rednor Band takes the stage Friday and The Kory Montgomery Band closes it out Saturday.

Don’t miss the crowd-favorite Best Beer of Summer vote where attendees get to weigh in on their top pick of the weekend.

Mindful Motion Yoga Day for MS

Enjoy yoga with a cause this Saturday. Come out for a grounding and uplifting day rooted in movement, mindfulness, and meditation while supporting the Rocky Mountain MS Center. Lauren Ciarallo is a longtime resident of Eagle County and she is turning her MS diagnosis into an opportunity to help others navigating the same diagnosis. Yoga gave her solace, so she’s hoping to pass that along via Revolution Power Yoga in EagleVail.

9 a.m. – 10:15 a.m.: Slow & Steady (Slow Flow + Guided Meditation)

A grounding, unhurried flow that eases you into deeper presence, followed by a peaceful 15-minute meditation to reset your mind and body. Led by Natashia Cohen.

11 p.m. – 12:15 p.m.: Open Hearts & Hips (Slow Flow)

A gentle, mindful sequence designed to open the hips and heart space with care, intention, and spacious breath. Led by Heidi Bricklin.

2p.m. – 3:15 p.m.: Yin & Yonder (Yin Yoga + Sound Bath)

A deeply restorative Yin practice paired with an immersive sound bath to help you soften, release, and drift into stillness. Yin practice will be led by Rachel Delong. Sound bath experience led by Mangata Sound.

This event will benefit the Rocky Mountain MS Center as they can continue to provide a comprehensive and integrated wellness approach to multiple sclerosis and related diseases, life-changing support services, critical education programs, and cutting-edge research. National Rosé Day at The Westin Riverfront 

The Westin Riverfront Resort and Spa is hosting National Rosé Day events at the Lookout Bar, Lobby Deck and Lobby Bar on Saturday.

Second Friday Gallery Night

Join the EagleARTS nonprofit for Gallery Night to explore local artwork, connect with fellow art lovers, and celebrate the creativity. Gallery Night allows you to explore local artwork, connect with fellow art lovers, and celebrate the creativity that makes our community so vibrant.

This will also be an evening of alchemy and intuition with Lisa Johnson, LMT. Johnson has Dynamic Alchemy and will be creating custom oil blends to help your energy needs.

ARTSPaCE workshop+gallery on Broadway is organizing the event. Make it a date night, girls’ night or bring the kiddos between 5-8 p.m. on Friday.

Gondola One open at Vail

Vail Mountain will operate Gondola One for daily operations starting this Friday. The Eagle Bahn Gondola in Lionshead and Beaver Creek’s Centennial Express will open next weekend – The Eagle Bahn Gondola on Friday and Centennial Express on Saturday. Lifts will run daily until Labor Day and then will operate on the weekends until Sept. 27. If you purchase the Epic Pass for the upcoming 2026-2027 ski season, you can get unlimited access to Vail Resorts’ lifts this summer and special discounts on gear, lodging, bike haul, golf and more.
