New Marriott duo hotel opens in Avon this week

The 116-suite SpringHill Suites and 127-suite TownePlace Suites, both by Marriott, opened in Avon on Tuesday, June 25. Located at 1782 Swift Gulch Road, the all-suite dual brand hotel will operate as a Marriott franchise.
The Marriott duo is located 10 minutes from the bases of Beaver Creek and Vail and provides easy access to the Eagle River and over 100 miles of paved bike paths.
Owner JMA Ventures, LLC served as the project developer in partnership with Traer Creek, and the property is managed by Pyramid Global Hospitality.
As a Marriott duo concept, the hotel includes a shared lobby and bar area. While on the property, guests can create their own complimentary hot breakfast every morning in the lobby area and can grill up dinner on the outdoor Weber grills. Other hotel amenities include an outdoor swimming pool and hot tub, a 24-hour fitness center, a meeting room, laundry facilities, complimentary Wi-Fi throughout the hotel, and on-site business services, including copying, faxing and printing. SpringHill Suites and TownePlace Suites are pet-friendly, though fees may apply.
SpringHill Suites offers suites larger than typical hotel rooms that feature separate living, working, and sleeping areas.
