Ridge + River at the Manor Vail Lodge in Vail Village is open for service all weekend from 4-9 p.m. and will be offering 20% off (food items only) on Sunday to locals that have a driver’s license or identification that has an Eagle County address on it. If you’d like to celebrate with dad at an iconic Eagle County landmark, head to the Wolcott Yacht Club for a special Father’s Day event on Sunday from 11:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. Stop in for live music, signature cocktails and some fantastic barbecue from “Chopped” champion Oscar Padilla. Distillery Tours will be hosted from 1-9 p.m. in Gypsum all weekend. If dad wants to immerse himself more into the experience of whiskey making, inquire about Fantasy Whiskey Camp. Dads, Drams, Dogs & Dry Flies
On Sunday, bring your dad to Minturn for a dram of whisky (spelled without the “e” because it’s made in the Scottish tradition) at Minturn Whisky Company, Chicago-style hot dogs from the Chi Shack food truck and a 30-minute mini lesson with Minturn Anglers (lessons between 1-2:30 p.m.).
