Photog Steve Trimble visits Avon library

The Avon Public Library and The Bookworm in Edwards will host an evening with award-winning photographer Steve Trimble on Tuesday.

The event will be held at the Avon Public Library from 6:30-8 p.m., and the public is welcome to attend free of charge.Trimble, the writer, editor and photographer of 19 books, is a frequent contributor to National Public Radio. During his library presentation, he will share images and tell stories revealing the passion and patience of the photographers featured in his latest work “Lasting Light: 125 Years of Grand Canyon Photography.” Trimble’s books, which focus on western wildlands and natural history, will be available for purchase and signing during the event.
