Born and raised on a farm in North Dakota, Tricia Swenson’s Colorado story is like that of most others — she came for the winter but stayed for the summer and everything in between. Besides loving the various outdoor activities that drew her here, she also strives to make people feel like they are a part of the community and enjoys sharing the stories of the Eagle River Valley with others.
Swenson’s story-telling has spanned the globe. For over two decades she has interviewed professional athletes, artists, actors, musicians, chefs and many more characters on national and international TV and internet broadcasts. With the Vail Daily embracing digital and video as a new way to communicate with its audiences, Swenson’s on-air experience allows the viewer to connect even more with our mountain lifestyle.
