Hospital foundation announces new VP

Amy Keller

VAIL — The Vail Valley Medical Center Foundation recently announced the appointment of Amy Keller, who will serve as vice president of operations and benefactor relations. In this new role, Keller will help create and implement funding opportunities and recognition programs to support Vail Valley Medical Center’s strategic fundraising activities. She joins a growing staff in the Vail Valley Medical Center Foundation, which generates philanthropy and awareness to support the hospital in providing care for residents and visitors of the valley.

“Amy brings valuable experience in program development, benefactor relations and fundraising,” said VVMC President and CEO Doris Kirchner. “As we celebrate VVMC’s 50th anniversary and embark on building Vail’s hospital of the future, Amy will play an important role in raising funds to support this initiative.”

ABOUT AMY KELLER



Keller comes to VVMC from Via Christi Health, Inc. in Wichita, Kansas. Prior to joining Via Christi, Keller served as a development professional for the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota, where she spent nine years in progressively larger roles in the area of fundraising.

Keller received her undergraduate degree in organizational management and communications from Concordia University in St. Paul, Minnesota, and a Master of Business Administration from St. Mary’s University in Minneapolis.
