BOND—The sixth annual Pink Elephant Party camping party featuring some of the best DJs in Colorado takes place at State Bridge Friday and Saturday. The party, which has taken place at various venues around the area, has relocated to State Bridge and features two Snow Ball artists as headliners – Mansions on the Moon and Robotic Pirate Monkey.-

“This year’s Pink Elephant Party is gonna be amazing,” said co-promoter Morgan Menco (Mo’ Rockin). “We have grown so much in the past five years that we have to take the party out of the woods and into a proper venue. And there is no better spot to meet our needs than State Bridge, which blends rugged outdoor style with the technical precision of a world-class venue. It is the perfect setting to showcase some of the best up-and-coming artists – many from Colorado, but some from out of state as well.”

Originating from different genres and backgrounds, each artist has something special they bring to the table – some will be DJing, while others will perform live sets.

Mansions on the Moon-is the latest project from Lane Shaw, Ben Hazlegrove and Ted Wendler. The group formed a little over a year ago, developing their signature sound at studios in Atlanta and Virginia Beach, and have collaborated with N*E*R*D, Diplo, DJ Benzi and Chiddy Bang’s Xaphoon Jones to name a few.-

Their mixtape, “Paradise Falls” presented by Diplo and DJ Benzi, has been streamed by over 700,000 people and illustrates the wide range of Mansions on the Moon’s musical capabilities. The band is currently residing in Los Angeles and is working on its debut album.-

Robotic Pirate Monkey, which recently sold out the Bluebird Theater in Denver, features three artists linking together through several beat pads and computer programs to create a seamless and original sound. Kymatica plays a live guitar through loop and effects pedals, and Bobby C Sound TV mixes video while blending beats.-

It’s a mix of artists that will keep you on your toes and wanting more all night. And once all the madness concludes on the main stage, organizers have a couple of little surprises for the campers who want to stay up late.
